Riding zones
Our vehicles respond to preset rules depending on their location. Be sure to familiarise yourself with each one of them before you set off.
Mandatory parking zone
In some cities (or areas), parking is permitted only in designated spaces. Use the map to find one near your destination before you set off.
Open parking zone
In other cities (or areas), you may park almost anywhere as long as the vehicle stands upright and doesn’t obstruct the path of other road users.
No-parking zone
Certain areas are simply unsuitable for parking. That’s why we have no-parking zones where you can neither pause nor end your ride.
Low-speed zone
These are areas, usually crowded with cars or pedestrians, or near (pre)schools, where the vehicle automatically slows down a bit.
No-riding zone
As the name suggests, these are no-go areas for all Voi vehicles. Here, you can neither ride nor park the scooter (nor pause your trip).

Quick guide to Berlin
Berlin is a creative blend of history, modernism, edginess and organisation. A city of contrasts, where €2 food trucks and fine-dining restaurants exist side by side; where Germany’s past and future live within touching distance of each other. Regularly dubbed one of the world’s most iconic cities, Berlin has something for everybody.
Kollwitzkiez
Kollwitzkiez is a charming neighbourhood, known for its vibrant artistic scene, cosy cafes and lively street markets. Situated in the trendy district of Prenzlauer Berg, Kollwitzkiez is characterised by its tree-lined streets, picturesque buildings and numerous parks.
The area is named after the famous German artist Käthe Kollwitz, who lived and worked in the neighbourhood for many years. Today, Kollwitzkiez is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering a unique blend of history, culture and modern urban living.
Kreuzberg
Situated on the banks of the River Spree, this dynamic and multicultural neighbourhood is home to a diverse community of artists, musicians and activists, who have created a unique and eclectic urban landscape in the midst of the German capital.
Despite its reputation as a hub of counterculture and rebellion, Kreuzberg is also a place of great historical significance, with numerous museums and monuments dedicated to the city’s turbulent past. Come here for the colourful street markets, lively bars and clubs, and numerous galleries and performance spaces.
Monbijoupark
This picturesque park, located in the very heart of the city, is home to several historic monuments and sculptures. Known for its beautiful green spaces, tranquil atmosphere and stunning views of the city, Monbijoupark is the place you go to relax and unwind in the shade of the park’s many trees, or to take a leisurely ride along the river while you enjoy the peaceful sounds of the water and the surrounding nature.
Television Tower
Built in the 60s by the East Germans as a way to show off their tech skills, the Television Tower is an iconic landmark that dominates Berlin’s skyline. Standing at over 360 metres tall, it’s the tallest structure in Germany and offers stunning panoramic views of the city from its observation deck.
The tower also houses a restaurant, where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the breathtaking views of the city below. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for an amazing photo opportunity, the Television Tower is definitely worth a visit.
