Before parking, consider the following: 

• Am I obstructing a pedestrian walkway, cycle lane, crosswalk, driveway, or building entrance?

• Am I parking on private property? 

• Is this location inaccessible to others who may want to use the scooter? 

All of these are significant no-nos. While some individuals might find it amusing to park scooters in inaccessible locations or throw them into waterways, riders may incur fines, bans, and other forms of prosecution for vandalism and poor parking behavior. 

Here are some tips on how to park correctly: 

• Park on the street along a pavement, parallel and close to a wall, in a bike rack, or within a designated parking zone. Please refer to the specific parking rules for your city on our website;

• Use the kickstand to ensure the scooter remains standing upright; 

• Ensure not to block any access ramps, bus stops, crosswalks, or entrances, or in any other way obstruct public areas;

• Pay attention to the red areas on the map (no-parking zones where you won't be able to park) or the mandatory parking spots (in selected cities).
