When you're riding a scooter, you have two options: ending the ride or pausing it.

Ending the ride means you're done using the scooter. It will disconnect from your account and become available for others to use.

If you need to step away but plan to return to the scooter, pausing the ride is best. This can be done by clicking 'Pause ride' on the ride screen when you have unlocked a scooter. The scooter won't be visible or available to others. It stays in the same spot for up to 2 hours, reserved just for you. If the 2-hour limit is reached while the ride is paused, it will automatically end.

The cost of reserving a scooter is calculated per minute, similar to riding it. When you return, click 'Unlock' to continue your ride.
