The most important things to check if you are having issues ending your ride are:

Check if you are in an allowed parking spot. If you’re not in an allowed parking spot, use the app to locate the closest allowed parking area and bring the scooter there to end your ride. 

In some cities, you may have designated parking spots that you must park at whereas in other cities, you can park anywhere so long as it's not a no-parking zone or no-riding zone. You can check our 

 to find the specific parking rules for your city.

If you're in a city where you must park at a designated parking spot, these spots will appear as a blue 'P' in the app:

If you're in a city where you can park anywhere except for in no-parking zones or no-riding zones, make sure to avoid the red or grey areas in the app:

Make sure you’re standing right next to the scooter.

Restart the app and try ending the ride again.

Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.

If you’re still unable to end your ride after checking each of the above steps, please contact us via our chat directly in the app for the quickest help in ending your ride.

If you’re a Voi user, the easiest way to contact us is by starting a chat directly in our app! You can access the chat by selecting ‘Help’ and then ‘Chat with us’.

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! If your phone battery dies, just make sure to park the scooter at an allowed parking spot and we will end the ride for you. The ride will automatically end if the scooter remains idle for 10 minutes to ensure a smooth experience for you.

Keep in mind that if you leave the scooter in a No Parking Zone, you risk getting a fine for improper parking. If you still need any further help or confirmation on your ride ending, feel free to contact us via the chat directly in the app or on the web!

If you have started a ride and noticed that a vehicle is damaged, please contact us so we can assist you.

You can inform us in the app after the ride through the feedback option or simply start a chat through the app.

If, after completing each of the above steps, you are still unable to connect to a vehicle, please contact us directly through the 'Help' section in the app.

If your scooter experiences a slowdown during your ride, it’s likely due to the following reasons.

- You may have entered a slow or no-riding zone - areas around the city affected by high traffic intensity. Upon entering such zones, the app automatically reduces your speed, and in the case of a No Riding Zone, brings the scooter to a complete stop. To check if you're in a Slow or No Riding Zone, pull over and consult the map in the Voi app. More details about different Voi zones can be found in 

 - There is a possibility of being in Reduced-Speed Mode, designed for new users, capping the scooter's maximum speed at 15 km/h. To check or change your Ride mode, tap 'View Profile' in the app's main menu, select 'Ride mode,' and then simply choose your preferred Ride mode.

- Another reason for a scooter slowdown and stoppage could be a low battery. Once the battery level reaches 10%, the scooter gradually slows down until it completely runs out of battery. Our recommendation is to check the battery level before embarking on a long ride—planning ahead is always a good idea! Information about the battery level is conveniently displayed in the app. You can easily check it by tapping on a scooter's icon on the map.

If the scooter didn't work and you were charged for unlocking it, please contact us directly through the ‘Help’ section in the app. A member of our team will be happy to help you.

At the moment, e-bikes are accessible in specific cities. To ascertain their availability in your city, click on the filter icon located at the bottom right corner of the app. All vehicle types accessible in your city will be displayed.

To initiate a ride with an e-bike, identify the nearest e-bike on the app's map. Scan the QR code on the e-bike or opt for ''Tap to ride'' in the app to unlock.
