Safe scooting in northern Italy – we’ve just launched in Turin

Turin, the fourth largest city in Italy by population, is now opening up even more to innovative and sustainable forms of sharing mobility. Our fleet of Voiager 3X scooters are now in place to help you discover this wonderful city smoothly and safely.

From today, thanks to the Voi app and its daily and monthly subscriptions, you will be able to easily discover the wonders that make Turin famous all over the world: from Roman ruins to the impressive Mole Antonelliana, symbol of the city. Turin is waiting to be discovered from the safety of a Voi scooter. 

And to ensure safe transport for all new users, we are launching our service in Turin today with a safety event on one of the city’s most central streets, Via roma. Our e-scooter rider experts have set up an area dedicated to road education and are teaching users how to ride correctly. The event gives everyone in Turin, tourists and residents alike, a chance to learn how to safely ride Voi e-scooters. We are also offering a free digital course, Ride Like Voila.

The Voiager 3X scooters are designed for greater safety for users and pedestrians. The design is based on the feedback from over six million users who have made over 55 million trips on our scooters since we started in November 2018. For example, among the features on the Voiager 3X is a double kickstand for greater stability when parked. 

But beyond creating safe, efficient and sustainable transport, Turin is also an important city for us at Voi. Turin is now the third Italian city we have invested in and shows how important Italy is for our expansion plans around Europe.
